I am new to these forums, but not to Yu-Gi-Oh!. I just recently got interested in playing in a local comic/card store's weekly tournaments. I was wondering what you think of my deck, perhaps tell me what can be improved. There are 40 Cards in the deck.

To start with you should take out the 2 Yomi Ship, and Man eater Bug to increase your Newdoria count to 3. Since Newdoria is Dark, that helps your Dark monsters.

take out the sakuretsu and waboku for 2 phoenix wing wind blasts

You might also try to focus your strategy a little bit. Sometimes it is nice to have multiple strategies to try and confuse the opponent on what you are planning, but at the same time too many can hurt your chances of getting things to kick off the way you wish them to.

 

For instance, you run Dark Nephtys, but have no cards that can benifit from that. If you use the effect simply for the s/t destroying ability, it might be a good idea to find a replacement, since this effect takes too long.
