Re: fragrance storm and botanical girl
If you use the effect of Fragrance Storm to draw a 2nd card, then yes you will. Otherwise, no you won't.

Re: fragrance storm and botanical girl
Karl, feel free to stand down. Since PMs do not provide the recipient a tickler, KJ has used the acceptable standard for passing notice of an incoming PM. IF (and it didn't happen) the Moderator feels that she has violated the intent of the forums, that is for him to take action. He can delete the post, send her a PM, etc.
Enjoy the game

Since you're the one implying kalanijasmine's post was not appropriated then it should be you who tells us the reason of that, i do not see any problem with her notifying someone else of a PM since the system doesn't notify you when you got new messages.

Re: fragrance storm and botanical girl
E-mail, aim, 50 different other ways. But KJ doesn't have his contact info you say?
That's like being at work, in the office, using the phone/company e-mail for personal correspondence, or having the office phone being spammed by someone asking Sue whether or not she was going to the concert on the weekend, all because the person you're corresponding with doesn't have your cell phone number.
In both situations, one should see that instead of just taking "any means necessary, because it's ok" they should see that it's actually "it's not ok, so they should just wait"
Would it be ok, if, hypothetically, the only reason to contact someone is to hold people hostage? O wait, we call that terrorism.
Apologies to anyone offended, when I made a comparison between terrorism and what happens on these forums, but the similarities are there. - Edit: Bottom line is, there are obvious black and white examples, i.e. it's probably perceived as ok by the community to have a signature that is slightly off topic (i.e. guitar hero), vs a signature that contains, say, pornography. So where is the line drawn? Who draws it? I can tell you that it's neither you nor I, mr. Ybarra. It's probably a majority consensus (lol voting polls) or Mr. Debrito.

Re: fragrance storm and botanical girl
If you must know... I was PMing him to ask if he wanted to chat on MSN, this being our primary source of contact.
I can understand how you can feel frustrated and angry, and feel as if your opinion is being held hostage.
I can also understand how you can direct that anger towards me.
I appologise for the fact that my comments were so offensive to you. No offense was intended, and I will endevour to be that much more diplomatic in my responses in future.
With that being said, we have a Code of Conduct on this forum in order to help prevent hurt feelings and arguments from occuring, as well as to make certain that the forums are being used as they were intended.
Unfortunately, while there is a thing called "Freedom of Speech", it only goes so far before it crosses the line and begins impinging upon the rights of others.
Given the fact that all websites (including google) are considered Intellectual Property of their owners, posting in this forum is a privilage, not a right, and Upperdeck (being the owners of this forum) are legally allowed to place any sanctions on our behavior, our right to free speech, and our subject matter that they wish.
By posting in this forum, you agree to these terms (the Code of Conduct) by default. In many respects, this is a kind of End User Licence Agreement, and like any EULA - it can be revoked.
I would not wish for you to lose your forum privilages as a result of misunderstandings which have occured.
As such, I ask that you take time to calm yourself down, and realise that we judges on this forum (myself included), are providing this service voluntarily - in order to help you (and other members of the community) learn how to play the game we all love, that much better than you already do.
The ball is in your court. Its your choice whether you wish to work with us, or against us in our efforts to make this forum a productive contribution to the gaming community.
We would prefer it if you joined us, and shared your insights while growing your knowledge.
If you have anything further you wish to say to me regarding this matter, feel free to PM me and we can continue this discussion in private - as I harbour no ill will towards you.
No one's been able to take me seriously... But that will change when I beat you at a children's card game.

okay, thank you for your replies. SO the destroy and draw happens at same time. SO when you resolve the effect, the last thing to happen is the botanical girl going to the graveyard therefore she doesn't miss her timing. Right? just making sure. sometimes i just wish they would make her effect mandatory like sangan. hehe, then there won't be any issue. :)

Re: fragrance storm and botanical girl
Yes KJ, I also agree that it is probably best to continue this discussion in private.
However, it's entirely possible that it'll be pointless, if you continue to make assumptions about my frustration and/or anger levels, or using irrelevant/illogical information. (e.g. Tsui said something about parodies, which can often infringe on the rights of others slanderously. However, parodies are protected under the First Amendment, despite slander being illegal.)
I too apologize if I came off as singling you out for any reason, as that was not my intention.
As all judges should strive to be the epitome of objectivity, and as such, our convictions and due process must not waiver to anything short of reason or logic.
