Instead of a huge lumbering purple guy, the Ultimate Galactus (known as Gah Lak Tus) is actually an entity composed of thousands upon thousands of sentient alien ships. That doesn't mean that Earth's forces take exception though, as once again Reed Richards uses the Ultimate Nullifier to save Earth from consumption - this time with some help from Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D.
